I live in Poland and have had to apologize constantly for the ridiculous translations this app comes up with. I gave it 2 stars because for the simplest words its ok but even fad is translated as kaprys and Ive been told (and I subsequently confirmed it) that this is simply wrong. Its like the developer took an out-of-copyright dictionary and just added a basic interface. Spend your money on a data plan and google translate. Thatll be a better return on investment. Recommendation: do not buy. They really need to invest in a better dictionary. Monty Pythonesque in its translations half the time.
positive: - cross referencing is a good feature. negative: - pure words translations, no examples or sentences like a normal dictionary. Considering the price I thought they were included - no grammar references, and again it is a bad miss for a dictionary - cant figure out how to delete the history list. This is a sw problem that should be fixed! So to summarise, not sure was a good buy. PARAGON, include the above feature and will be worthed. Update: grammar references included in new version but only polish to english and not english polish, this is a dictionary for polish native speakers only, until the grammar rules are added for english people too.
Definitely not worth the investment. First, the spoken part is for English words only. This does no good if you are trying to learn Polish. Second, the interface is not user friendly. The descriptions are very small print and hard to interact with. If you want to learn Polish I would not recommend this. Im now waiting for Rosetta Stone on iPhone.
Good but missing some features
Needs more entries! It can translate around 30% of words Im looking for. Overpayed. $1.99 would be a fair price.
